A practical, India-focused introduction to sports administration covering governance, documentation, finance, athlete welfare, events, digital systems and compliance. The course explains the enacted National Sports Governance Act, 2025 with clear warnings about phased commencement and the different legal position of National Sports Bodies, recognised sports organisations and affiliate or local bodies.

Important legal scope: The course does not imply that every club, academy, State association or district association is automatically recognised or directly regulated in the same way as a recognised National Sports Body. Administrators must check the organisation’s legal form, affiliation, constitution, applicable State law, grant conditions and the provisions actually brought into force.
